Research Associate Dr. Alam's research interests include environmental microbiology, pathogen ecology, food safety, disease control and prevention. He is presently conducting ecological research on human pathogenic bacteria associated with insects and antibiotic resistances as well as working on ecology of Escherichia coli O157:H7, Campylobacter, and Enteroccocus associated with insects/flies. |
