TIPS AND HINTS FROM THE MAIL ROOM
- When you provide your mailing list to us in digital format, our
preferred format is a PC disk with a database file.
- The correct terminology to have printed on your envelopes is Address
Service Requested (the Post Office no longer accepts Address Correction
Requested).
- If you are using Address Service Requested, it can only be
printed in 3 places - directly below the return address, directly
above
the return address or directly below the postage area - with
a 1/4" clear space around the endorsement.
- The Post Office no longer uses the bulk permits that have a first
line that say Bulk Rate or Bulk Permit. The current permit has
a first line that says Presorted Standard.
- If you are bringing in a job with a Central Mail meter code on
it, please check to make sure that it is the correct code. If you
are not sure, ask us and we'll look it up for you.
- If you need to make a change to the A&K mailing list,
please contact Karen Hunter in Customer Service at 532-1526.
