Mailing Services
----------------------

The one-stop approach of Printing Services provides you with the ease of having your job printed and mailed from the same source. Mail Services provides complete postal services and distribution for your printed projects such as newsletters, brochures, invitations and announcements for both internal and external mailings.

Mail Services can use your database with our mailing software to sort your mailing list for maximum cost savings on postage. Our high-speed Videojet addressing system offers high-quality inkjet addressing. Whether your project is mailed through non-profit standard mail, standard mail or first class, we can coordinate your job to meet U.S. Postal regulations.

KSPS MAILING SERVICES CAN ASSIST YOU WITH A VARIETY OF SERVICES

  • Tabbing
  • Inserting
  • Generating Labels (from digital files)
  • Inkjet Labeling (we no longer use the paper Cheshire labels)
  • Processing Mail (Printing Services MUST process ALL mail using the #525 permit number)

TIPS AND HINTS FROM THE MAIL ROOM

  • When you provide your mailing list to us in digital format, our preferred format is a PC disk with a database file.
  • The correct terminology to have printed on your envelopes is Address Service Requested (the Post Office no longer accepts Address Correction Requested).
  • If you are using Address Service Requested, it can only be printed in 3 places - directly below the return address, directly above the return address or directly below the postage area - with a 1/4" clear space around the endorsement.
  • The Post Office no longer uses the bulk permits that have a first line that say Bulk Rate or Bulk Permit. The current permit has a first line that says Presorted Standard.
  • If you are bringing in a job with a Central Mail meter code on it, please check to make sure that it is the correct code. If you are not sure, ask us and we'll look it up for you.
  • If you need to make a change to the A&K mailing list, please contact Karen Hunter in Customer Service at 532-1526.
