Why do I need to include my fonts? Aren't they in the file?

Most people believe that the fonts are automatically included with their files, this unfortunately is not true. When you create a document on your computer, the software is utilizing your version of fonts. There can be several different versions of each font which can cause your lines of text to re-reflow*. Even Times (common as it is) has several different versions on the market, which makes it important for us to have the version that was used in the creation of your document.

* Text Reflow—Many software packages format your job to the default printer on your system. When it is opened on a different computer with a different default printer, it can cause text reflow, margin changes, and text to drop off the page.

If you need help locating your fonts please feel free to call us at 532-1526.
