Degree Cost

To apply to the Master of Political Science degree, students must submit an application to the Kansas State University Graduate School.  One component of the application is a processing fee (which differs for domestic and international students).  More information can be found at: http://www.k-state.edu/grad/admissions/application-process/

The Division of Financial Services provides a Comprehensive Fee Schedule for the Manhattan campus that presents the breakdown of tuition and fees. You may access the current tuition and fee schedule:  http://www.k-state.edu/finsvcs/cashiers/costs/

Students in the graduate program may elect to take an occasional online course via Kansas State University’s Global Campus.  More information about the fee schedule for online courses may be found at: http://global.k-state.edu/courses/registration/fees-tuition/

Cost of living is certainly a factor in obtaining a graduate degree as well.  The City of Manhattan website provides some statistics about the cost of living in Manhattan, KS: http://cityofmhk.com/1754/Manhattan-at-a-Glance

Graduate Students do have the option of campus housing at Jardine Apartments. A rent rate schedule is available at: http://housing.k-state.edu/living-options/apartments/rates-meal-plans/index-1.html .  A meal plan that allows students to utilize the campus dining halls may be purchased in addition to rent costs: http://housing.k-state.edu/living-options/apartments/rates-meal-plans/off_campus_meals.html

Graduate Students also have various off-campus housing options.  The Office of Student Activities and Services provides an Off-Campus Housing Support Guide as well as assistance through their office.  Their resources can be found at http://www.k-state.edu/osas/ochs/index.html
