Concurrent Degree Advising

Upon admission to the Concurrent Degree Program, students will initially be assigned to the Director of Graduate Studies for course related advising purposes. Dr. Jim Franke will be the initial advisor during the first few years, switching over to Dr. Bernick or Dr. Heidbreder. After the completion of the undergraduate degree, students will select either Dr. Ethan Bernick or Dr. Brianne Heidbreder as the Principal Advisor and Chair of the student's Graduate Supervisory Committee.

Students are strongly encouraged to meet regularly with their individual Committee Chairs in order to plan course work, to map our the Area of Specialization, and to make career plans. It is possible to complete the program in 10 semesters with careful academic advising.
