Craig Stapley

Vita

Dr. Stapley is the Executive Director of the Security Studies MA/PhD program at Kansas State University. He has published a chapter entitled “Corporate Security and Traditional Security Studies,” with Steve Sloan and Suzette Grillot in The Handbook of Security which was published in 2006. He has also published a journal article in Contemporary Security Policy which will be out in the summer of 2006. Dr. Stapley has two chapters relating directly to his research focus in terrorism forthcoming in 2008
In addition to his research and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Stapley teaches the gateway Security Studies course as well as the graduate course on terrorism. He is responsible for teaching International Relations and Comparative Politics classes which include American Foreign Policy, International Organizations, Research Methods, Comparative Politics of the Pacific Rim, US Defense Policy, and Introduction to Comparative Politics.
Dr. Stapley has taught courses in American Government: honors, online, telecourse and traditional sections; Introduction to International Relations; Methods for Political Science; American Foreign Policy; and International Organizations.
