Chapter Undergraduate Scholarship |
| In rewarding excellence, approximately $150,000 in
chapter scholarships and awards is distributed each year to
outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and
alumni by Phi Kappa Phi chapters on its 282 member campuses.
The K-State Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi offers $750
scholarships each year. The three requirements are that you
be a member of Phi Kappa Phi, be enrolled full-time, and have a
minimum of one semester of undergraduate study remaining at the
time of the award.

Study Abroad Grant |
Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants exist to recognize scholarly
endeavors. They are designed specifically to recognize and assist
undergraduates as they seek knowledge abroad. Forty-five grants
(valued at $1,000 each) are awarded annually.

Graduate
Fellowships |
|
The Fellowship Program awards annually 60 Fellowships of $5,000
each and 40 Awards of Excellence of $2,000 each for post-graduate
study at accredited institutions of higher learning. Awards
are made on a competitive basis for first-year graduate or
professional study.
Each chapter may nominate one student for the national competition.

National Emerging Scholar Program
|
|
Established in 2006, Phi Kappa Phi will award its first
recipients of the Emerging Scholar Award this year. The awards
program recognizes outstanding rising sophomores studying at
Phi Kappa Phi member institutions. Sixty awards valued at
$250 each will be awarded to qualifying applicants.

National Love of Learning Awards
|
|
Established in 2006. Love of Learning Awards will help fund
post-baccalaureate studies and/or career development for active
Phi Kappa Phi members. Fifty awards, up to $500 each, will
be awarded to qualifying applicants.
Recipients of the Fellowship award are not eligible to apply.

National
Scholar and National Artist Awards |
|
Presented every three years, these honor those individuals who
demonstrate the ideals of Phi Kappa Phi through their activities,
and achievements and scholarship. Awardees receive $5,000
honoraria, an Active-For-Life Membership, a commemorative plaque,
and the opportunity to present their work at The Society's national
convention.

Literacy Grant
|
|
The most recent addition to the Phi Kappa Phi scholarships and
awards program is the Literacy Grants program. The program was
initiated in 2003 to mobilize members and resources of Phi Kappa Phi
and the higher education community to champion literacy initiatives.
Grants are available to Phi Kappa Phi chapters and individual members
to fund ongoing literacy projects or to create new initiatives.
