Testimony
"Phi Kappa Theta has been the best part of my college career. It has given me a great group of friends and has helped me in the transition from high school to college." Kyle Nuckolls, Freshman, Chemistry/ Pre-Med
Summer 2008 Events
As Phi Kap continues to build it's next pledge class, we are looking for more quality young men to join our Fall 08 New Member class. Phi Kappa Theta will be hosting two events during the 2008 summer. The first event will be held on June 7th here in Manhattan. We will begin the day by meeting here at the house for house tours at 2. We will then head out to the Wildcat Creek Park area. Plans include batting cages, driving range, mini golf, football, frisbee and a bbq. The second event will be held on July 19th. This event will begin around 2 and will include bowling, pool and a cookout. We will be contacting you with more information and as always, if you are interested in finding out more about Phi Kap, please fill out a rush information request and we will contact you with more information about the upcoming events.
New Student Orientation Days
Phi Kappa Theta will have a booth at the K-State Union during each one of the New Student Orientation days this summer. The dates are June 12-14, 17-21 and 24-27. We will also be available to give house tours after the orientations. If you are going to be up for one of these enrollment days, stop by the booth and let us know if you would like a house tour! We look forward to seeing you there!
Rush Phi Kap!
Joining Phi Kappa Theta will open a world of opportunities. Our fraternity promotes academic achievement, builds brotherhood and lifelong friendships within our members, develops young men into tomorrow's leaders, and creates a variety of social involvement. Phi Kappa Theta is involved within both the Greek and the University communities, as well as the Catholic Student community at St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center.
Many will probably tell you that it is best to live in a residence hall the first year, to take a step-back to look at the options. Nothing could be further from the truth! If fraternity life is right for you, you will be glad that you did not waste a year of your college experience taking a step-back.
Through our Associate Member Education program, which has been named the best in the country at the Phi Kappa Theta National Convention, you will become a part of one of the premier fraternities at K-State. Through our strict anti-hazing policy and Catholic tradition, we treat all associate members as respected and valued brothers who are becoming active members in Phi Kappa Theta.
While learning about our fraternity through our website is good, the best way to find out what it truly means to be a Phi Kap at Kansas State is to visit the house. Whether you are coming for an official recruitment event or happen to be in Manhattan for a game or campus visit, you are always welcome to come by the house and learn more about life at Phi Kappa Theta.
