Dad's Day!
While there may have been a lot of golf balls lost, we had another succesful Dad's day! Thank you all who were able to attend, we had a blast. After golfing, we came back to the house and enjoyed an AWESOME bbq dinner. Thanks to the Simon family and helpers for the great feast! We look forward to next years Dad's day!
Mom's Day!
Thanks to all Moms that attended our very successful Mom's day. With great games, our English Tea put on by housemom Jill, and a very successful basket auction, the day went very well. Special thanks to all of the parents that attended and contributed to the house through donations to the auction and participating in buying baskets. We had a very successful fundraiser! We also had a Parents' Club meeting during the day, and minutes from the meeting will be posted on this page soon!
Thanks to Parents for an Excellent 2006-07 School Year!
As always, the generosity of Phi Kap parents helped all of us in the house have another great year filled with milestones for parent involvement and house improvement. We thank all of the parents for supporting their sons as they go through college as a Brother in Phi Kappa Theta. Some parents, though, were especially involved in promoting the success of the house. Special thanks goes out to: Debbie Mullins, mother of Senior Matt Mullins, for her continued dedication and hard work as the President of the Phi Kap Parents club; the Rosentreter and Baier families, for funding the installation of new tile in the upstairs bathroom; Ray Augustine, for donating his equipment and an entire weekend of help for getting the tile installed; the Hartsig family for sponsoring a recurring recruitment Ad in the Leaven Catholic Newspaper; and to all of the parents who generously contributed to the Mom's day Auction, which helped us raise money for house improvements.
Again, the Phi Kap men would like to thank our parents for their generous support this year, and hope to see even more help in the coming school year!
