Kansas Iota prepares to send four members to the 2009 Biennial Convention
At the 2008 Phi Kappa Theta Leadership Institute, the Kansas Iota Chapter was awarded the Founder's Cup, recognizing our chapter as the top Phi Kap chapter in the nation.
The Iota chapter of Phi Kappa Theta anxiously awaits the 2009 Biennial Convention in Columbus, Ohio. This convention marks the 50th anniversary of the merger of Phi Kappa and Theta Kappa Phi, creating Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. Our chapter is sending four members to the convention, making our presence at the weekend event the largest in recent histroy. Brothers Matt Rosentreter, Ian Hartsig, Dante Ruiz and Akeem Giles will be in Columbus for the historic event. We look forward to seeing our brothers from all across the nation at convention!
Summer 2009 House Update
This summer, the men of the chapter are working to update one of the rooms in the chapter house. What has formerly been known as the "exec room" is being turned into a all-house study room/ library. This room will provide the members of the house a quiet, studious atmosphere 24/7. We appreciate the alumni board's financial and postitive support in making this house update possible!
