Monica has worked for Kansas State University since 1990 and is currently working as a project coordinator for the K-State Community Service Program with Leadership Studies and Programs where she oversees the Academic Mentoring and Alternative Breaks program. In addition, Monica is the Business Manager for Leadership Studies and Programs. Monica graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management and is working towards a graduate degree in College Student Personnel Work.

Sarah is currently a graduate student in the Master's degree program in College Student Personnel. She is developing the K-State HD (healthy decisions) initiative as a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Activities and Services. Sarah received her B.A. in Business Management at Buena Vista University in Iowa. While in undergrad she was very involved in community service activities. She served for a year as an AmeriCorps*VISTA in Waltham, Massachusetts (right outside Boston) before moving to Manhattan to continue her education.
