RECOGNITIONS

The PEAK (Promoting Excellent Alternatives in Kansas) nursing home initiative was created by the Kansas Department on Aging to promote more social, non-traditional models of long-term care. The PEAK award recognizes nursing homes that have made significant changes to improve residents’ quality of life. These homes are among the best in the state at providing opportunities for resident control, staff empowerment, home environment and community involvement.
