Support for new parents and families

The PFA provides a variety of resources for families new to the K-State experience. Parents can find resources on our website or can directly connect with K-State through e-mail and the PFA hotline, 785-532-2222.

Parent voice

K-State is focused on providing an exceptional student experience. The PFA Advisory Board provides important feedback on issues important to students and parents. This volunteer body helps advise on current issues and direct the work of the PFA.

K-State Parents and Family Fund

Gifts to the K-State Parents and Family Fund help support student-centered initiatives. Learn more about how you can help support student success and qualify for discounts to area merchants.

Student recruitment programs

PFA volunteers assist with student recruitment by visiting with families at events, hosting in-home receptions, or serving on an informational panel.

Campus Safety Video

As a special project of the K-State Parents and Family Association, a video was created to inform new students of safety resources and to promote personal safety and crime prevention. The video is shown at orientation and enrollment programs, in residence halls and greek houses, and at other student organization meetings.
