Cool Treats Hot Jobs

Is your student looking for a summer full-time job? Have them check out this event hosted by Career and Employment services on the south lawn by Holtz Hall May 2 for free ice cream(while supplies last) and resources for their job search.

Powercat Financial Counseling

Make sure your student is prepared to manage his or her finances during and after the college years. The Powercat Financial Counseling program has teamed up with American Student Assistance to provide students and alumni access to SALT, an online financial planning program. SALT provides free advice on managing money and student loans. It will supplement the university’s existing Powercat Financial Counseling, which was established in 2009.

2013 Spring Football Game

Join your student and attend the annual spring football game Saturday, April 27. Tickets are general admission and are $5. Students who have purchased tickets for the 2013 football season can pick up their free ticket for the game at Gate T at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Kickoff will be at 1:10 p.m.

Get involved with PFA

The Parents and Family Association helps you connect to K-State. Our website keeps you up to date on events like Family Day and Open House, which give you the opportunity to come to campus and spend the day with your student.

Through the Parents and Family Advisory Board, you can participate in student recruitment events in Kansas and beyond. You also can help us raise funds to support scholarships and enhancements to student life at K-State.
