Student Financial Assistance

K-State Student Financial Assistance assists students with information and advice regarding financing their college education.  Every K-State student has a personal financial assistance advisor assigned to him or her.  If students have questions regarding completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or have other questions about grants, loans, or work study, they may schedule an appointment with their advisor or drop in to visit with a peer advisor.

Powercat Financial Counseling

Located in the K-State Student Union, Powercat Financial Counseling assists students with financial decisions including budgeting, saving, student loan repayment, and understanding credit.  The center is free for students and uses a peer mentor program where students studying in a finance-related curriculum provide one-on-one financial counseling to fellow students. The center also provides free workshops to campus groups and organizations about various financial topics.  Visit the PFC website to schedule an appointment, to request a financial workshop presentation, or to discover resources which help students make informed financial decisions.

Viewing student account information

The Cashier's office provides information about access to student statement of accounts information.  K-State students may designate their parent, guardian or other individual to have access to their financial information.  Information, forms and tutorials are available on the Cashier's website.
