Site of infection: this specimen was removed from the pericardial cavity
Typical size: 2-3 mm long
Distribution: Aspidogaster conchicola occurs in North America, Europe, Africa
Other: species infecting invertebrates have direct life-cycles; species infecting vertebrates use invertebrates as intermediate hosts
