The K-State Challenge Course enhances individual development and teambuilding through experiential learning in a natural environment. Located on the K-State campus, the course is convenient and affordable for K-State students, faculty and staff, and the larger community.
The course consists of nine permanent low elements and two clusters of high elements. Additional portable elements and prop supported initiatives are available to provide flexible programming. Our staff has the ability to create custom-designed participation plans to meet the unique needs of each group. Individual and group reflection is an important factor in achieving the learning objectives of a group. The facilitators provide appropriate guidance to help groups process their experience.
We are committed to providing safe, inclusive challenges for every participant. Our trained facilitators operate with safety as a first priority. The philosophy of participation is challenge-by-choice in which each individual’s choice to participate is respected.

The K-State Challenge Course is principally funded by the K-State Student Governing Association through a student fee bond surplus allocation.
