Europa-University Viadrina

Frankfurt (pop.80,000) on the Oder is sometimes confused with the other Frankfurt in Germany. The Europa University was established in 1991 following German unification. Situated on the Oder River, Viadrina has become an important link between eastern and western Europe.

Viadrina is on the German-Polish border, giving students a variety of cultures while studying. Viadrina offers a wide range of course and research opportunities in cultural studies, economics and law with some coursed taught in English. In addition to those studies, Viadrina has a language center that provides classes in beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of German.
