Exchange Students and Coordinators

Use these pages only if your institution has a signed agreement linking your institution with KSU. Student must submit applications and all supporting documents through their home institution's program coordinator. Home institutional coordinators know the terms of the program under which you are applying to KSU and can help select the correct forms that are found below. Students must not send an application directly to KSU. It must be sent by your institutional coordinator to the appropriate Director of the three listed immediately below.

General Instructions

Please do NOT fill out the online application!

You will have to choose between the Undergraduate and Graduate sets of forms whose links are below. Make sure you use only those in the same category:
Undergraduate = first four years of university level work - the US Bachelors Degree level.
Graduate = following the US Bachelors Degree - Masters and Ph.D. level.

Complete Application consists of four things:

  1. Completed and signed KSU International Application
  2. Completed Affidavit of Financial Support Form
  3. Language Test Requirement: (Disregard if a native English speaker)
    • Undergraduate: If you have one, include a TOEFL report. KSU does not require a TOEFL report for admission at the undergraduate level but you will be tested with the free KSU TOEFL exam upon your arrival before you are allowed to enroll in classes. Depending on the score, students may be required to take classes in the English Language Program.
    • Graduate: Graduate admission requires a mimimum of 550 TOEFL score for qualified admission (depending on the department) and generally 600 for unqualified admission but some departments require higher scores.
  4. Official transcripts of ALL courses/classes and grades/marks for all university level work completed at the time of your application. Transcripts must be translated into English and have an official seal/signature of your university.

Affidavit of Financial Support:

Ask your coordinator which version to use. The version corresponds to the type of exchange agreement in effect between your university and KSU. The amount of financial support you must demonstrate differs widely between the various versions.
