Undergraduate Admissions

Kansas State University offers over 250 undergraduate programs. Find the right program for you!

Academic Requirements

  • Completed high school degree
  • 2.5 out of 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) in high school coursework

Programs with different requirements:

  • College of Architecture, Planning and Design: a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA is recommended for admission to all majors.
  • College of Engineering: a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA is recommended for admission to all majors.
  • Interior design and athletic training in the College of Human Ecology: a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA is recommended for admission.
  • Wildlife and outdoor enterprise management in the College of Agriculture: a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA is recommended for admission.

SAT or ACT scores are not required for admission to any programs at Kansas State University.

  • But, SAT or ACT scores are recommended as part of a strong application to these programs:
    • All majors in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design
    • All majors in the College of Engineering
    • Interior design and athletic training in the College of Human Ecology
    • Wildlife and outdoor enterprise management in the College of Agriculture

 

Language Requirements

  • Proof of English proficiency is not required for admission to Kansas State University. Admissions decisions are made on the academic qualifications listed above.
    • These programs require English proficiency for direct admission. Go here for the tests and scores we accept as proof of English.
      • All majors in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design
