Sheryl Hodge is an evaluator with the Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation. Joining the OEIE team in September 2005, she is active in all facets of evaluation processes, both within the university and across several external projects. As a professional evaluator for 15 years, she has served as an independent consultant and contractor on federal, state, and community-based projects throughout the country. These endeavors have provided opportunities to be involved in applied action research, as well as evaluation of program development and school reform initiatives.

Dr. Hodge received her interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Education and Sociology and her M.A. in Educational Research and Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has a B.S.E. from Emporia State University, with teaching endorsements in 5th – 12th grade Biology, General Science, and Physical Education. Her research interests continue to be in social and academic motivation and the measurement of non-cognitive processes.
