Lafene Health Center
Lafene Health Center is a professionally accredited ambulatory healthcare facility that provides cost-effective, physician directed health care and health information to K-State students.
The center is located adjacent to campus at 1105 Sunset Avenue, employing fulltime physicians and a broad range of clinical support staff. Services available include an outpatient general medical clinic, laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy, nutrition and diet counseling, and specialty clinics for allergy and immunizations, sports-related injuries, and gynecology. Individual and group counseling, referrals, and group presentations are available on a variety of health related topics through the Department of Health Promotion/Nutrition Counseling. The health center is entirely student funded. Only fee-paying students are eligible for care. Non-student spouse eligibility is available upon request. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
