International Student and Scholar Services

International Student and Scholar Services
Sara Thurston-González, Director
104 International Student Center

The staff at International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) provide vital services for K-State's over 2,000 international students, scholars, and their families from over 100 countries. Additionally, staff members provide leadership and support for a variety of programs that promote global awareness and understanding.

Of specific interest to U.S. students would be some programming efforts including non-credit basic language training classes, a coffee hour series that highlights 5 different countries each semester, and the International Buddies program for an opportunity for cross-cultural sharing. Individuals interested in getting involved should contact ISSS for more information.

The three building facility at the corner of Claflin Road and Mid-Campus Drive includes a space available for rental as well as wireless internet reception.
