K-State Libraries are the academic heart of K-State and are comprised of five libraries on the Manhattan campus - Hale Library; Fiedler Engineering Library; Weigel Library of Architecture, Planning, and Design; Math/Physics Library; and Veterinary Medical Library - as well as the K-State at Salina library. All offer venues to study, do research, and work on collaborative projects, and house print and online resources to support diverse academic and research needs.
Outside the buildings, students access online databases, journals, and books, and even receive personal research assistance through the Libraries' website and innovative services like "Ask a Librarian" anytime, from anywhere.
Reference staff help with research and projects in person, on the phone, via e-mail, and by instant message or text messaging more than 80 hours each week when classes are in session.
Librarians specialize in undergraduate or graduate student/faculty areas, and are available for library instruction and tours and one-on-one appointments for research projects and questions.
