Wildcat warm-up

What others have to say

“Wildcat Warm-up was the perfect mix of fun and learning to kick-off my
Experience at K-State. It was a blast learning about everything from what classes to take to how to form lasting friendships. I was I was delighted to see how Wildcat Warm-Up Counselors and participants I stayed close with into the school year. Oh, and I also learned to sing the entire fight song by the end of the session- I think I still sing it everyday!!“

“Wildcat Warm-up was a great way to get to know K-State and to get to know the people here. I am still friends with some of my group members, almost two years later!”
Kelsey Moran, 2006 Participant

“I would absolutely recommend Wildcat Warm-up to incoming freshman, because it provides so many opportunities. Such opportunities include getting to know K-State and its facilities a lot better, and meeting lots of friends as well as connections before college begins. And if that is not enough reason to go, then the fact that Wildcat Warm-up is a really fun and active memorable event that will always stick with whoever attends is a great reason to go, because I know I haven’t forgotten!”
Patrick Flores, 2007 Participant

“Yes, I am very glad I participated in Wildcat Warm-up. I was able to meet so many people and really got the feeling that this is where I should be in the fall. Also, I got to meet some amazing people who I am still friends with.”
Kayla Moorse, 2007 Participant

“As an incoming freshman, I didn’t know many people because all of my good friends from high school were going to different colleges. I attended Wildcat Warm-up at the suggestion of my father and by the end of my stay on campus I didn’t want to leave. All I could talk about was K-State and how excited I was to come up here. I learned so much about the campus and the resources available to me as a student and made me feel less anxious about attending K-State in the fall. I loved and respected Wildcat Warm-up so much that I applied to be a counselor and am now looking forward to being a returning counselor for my second year.”
