Which Orientation and Enrollment day works best?
If you plan to attend Wildcat Warm-up, register for orientation and enrollment on June 13 or 18. Your orientation activities will conclude in plenty of time to check-in for Wildcat Warm-up.
What do my parents do while I'm at Wildcat Warm-up?
Some parents see this as a great opportunity to check out campus and Manhattan on their own. Hotel information is available at http://www.manhattancvb.org/. Parents are invited to the closing session at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 15 or Friday, June 20, K-State Student Union, Forum Hall.
Can I come and go from the program?
Once you check in, we require that you stay with the program. Most of what you do will be in small groups where you build strong connections quickly. A member of the group who is not there for the entire experience misses a lot of the action and changes the experience for his or her group.
Where do I park, and where is my car while I'm with the program?
We have arranged parking for you near the residence hall where you will be staying. We provide all the transportation throughout the program, so you won't need to worry about driving.
What is a challenge course?
Low and high challenge courses allow participants to grow individually as well as build teamwork. Participants face a number of outdoor obstacles, building leadership, teamwork, and problem solving. Health forms, permissions slips, athletic attire, and tennis shoes are required.
