Report of suggested Fund Raisers brought up at the Executive Board
Meeting. 1. Cooking in Westmoreland at the Perez Trading Post
Georgia to put in her regular advertisement in the
Smoke signal, Westmoreland Recorder & Frankfurt paper.
Georgia reminded that there is no hot running water at the shop in
Westmoreland and that there are only 500 people in westmoreland as
compared to 40,000 in Manhattan. Suggested ECU in Manhattan as another
possibility or do May 7th when Westmoreland has their all town Garage
Sale day.
2. Craft Classes, Rhondalyn would like to see us do a series
of classes by members with skills like the classes
Georgia teaches at the Trading Post. Various ones
discussed. Miriam mentioned the Pine Needle Baskets.
Rhondalyn liked that main supplies are free.

it would give us a way to let people know about our
organization and possibly acquire more members.
Elizabeth Schrum, President, suggested that we have a club meeting where
we make earrings as a fun thing to do. Previously Georgia had offered
to have a social get together in Westmoreland on a Sunday afternoon
were everyone could make earrings. Considering for future.
