Gary Callesto to forward Bobby Guno contract to rhondalyn soon as he has
it.  Gary to see if fee can include transportation & lodgins, so we
won't need to submit separately.  Rhondalyn to check on Multicultural
Organization Credit Card for us to use for reservations if they are not
included in the fees.  Miriam has reserved Forum Hall 1-4:30 for this
event.  We have the Library Hemisphere Room 5-7:30 also reserved.  Will
decide for definate at a later date.

Georgia Perez reported that Candice, Faculty Advisor had responded
positively to our request for KSUDB to play Native music during April
Heritage Monthand that Andrew, KSUDB Program Dir. has the final say.
Georgia to meet with Andrew before next meeting.  Candice reminded that
they are willing to do live remotes at our events.

Pat Embers reported that Lloyd Elm would be the Wisdom Keepers Conf.
Speaker that would be available on April 4th.  Pat reported the
Conference would pay airfare to & from Kansas City for this speaker.
We will need to pay for room & provide ride to Kansas city.  Pat will
continue checking to see if she can come up with a way for the speaker
to get to Kansas City. If all else fails, Georgia will try & get off
work to drive Lloyd.  Pat to see if Lloyd can send us a standard
contract for that time & date, if not, then Pat to acquire address for
Rhondalyn to mail contact to.  We have Union Rm 213 reserved at 5:30
for this event, Rhondalyn has the Hemisphere rm reserved 3-5 for get
together before hand.

Miriam Litfin-Salt reported that the Indian Center in Lawrence was no
assistance at all in locating someone to teach us social dances.  We
have scheduled March 12th 2-5 in the Hemisphere Rm in the library for a
social & potluck.

Rhondalyn to check on availability.

Angela volunteered to contact Marlett School about their request of a 30
minute program on April 11th and acquire more information.

Miriam Litfin-Salt reported Donavan Sprague who works at Crazy Horse
Memorial would be available 4-13. Miriam would like to see us have 2
sessions, one with the group & recruiters & one with the public.  Union
room 213 is reserved 12:30-5:00 for us to schedule the 2 meetings in.
Miriam to acquire Contract Information.

Miriam reported that Multicultural diversity is asking us to set up a
table February 12 for 12-1:30 for perspective students.

Miriam reported on Dow World Day Festival & taste of Culture.  We voted
that we would like to participate again this year.  3/30 display over
lunch hours & April 1, Taste of Culture at 2-6.  We sell tickets as a
fund raiser for our organization.  More tickets sold more we make.

Rhondalyn went over the proceedures of changing presidents.  Requested
we do president & vice president instead of co-presidents.  Elizabeth
Schrum will be he president and Rachel Bender will be the vice
President.  Rhondalyn explained the procedures better to us.  Rachel
Bender assigned to pick up the forms from OSAS that are required to be
filled out & volunteered to pick up our mail daily from OSAS.

Rhondalyn will talk with Dawn Murphy for Treasurer.  Asked about
Secretary position, since Melinda has been unavailable at the meetings
due to her & her husband's schedule.  Position was offered to Laura Ann
MccCallister or Jeannette Campos.  They agreed to think it over and let
us know by next meeting.  We also have possibility of Dawn Murphy
holding both the Treasurer & Secretary position.

Rondalyn reported to new presidents that our tax exempt status & FEIN
Tax # forms need updated due to our name change.

Laura Bathurst, Faculty member & alumnist, attended our meeting also.
Thank you Dr. Prinns for passing on our informtion to Laura.

Surprise Prises of key chains destributed just before meeting was
ajorned.
