There are some materials available which students can use to help prepare for the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) Test. Students may want to wait until later in their Block II semester to take the test, but it is suggested to take it prior to student teaching. |

Go to www.ets.org/praxis -- click on "Test Preparation" for information about Tests at a Glance. This provides the most up-to-date information to assist test takers in selecting the correct information for the test they need to take. |

| Hale Library Barron's How to Prepare for the PRAXIS, 2nd edition -- This book has sample questions, answers, and explanations for all three test levels. The book is at the Reserve Desk and the course number is DED 000, Dale Shipps, instructor. Students must work on this at the library--it cannot be taken out and no marks should be made in the test booklet--write the answers on a separate sheet of paper. ARCO, PRAXIS II EXAM -- This is another PLT practice test with sample questions, an answer key, and explanations. This book is also at the Reserve Desk and the course number DED 000, Dale Shipps, instructor. Students must work on this at the library--it cannot be taken out and no marks should be made in the test booklet--write the answers on a separate sheet of paper.
