Music Education at Kansas State University

The findings showed what influenced them to become music educators:

• The most influential person was their high school music teacher.
• The most influential experiences were high school instrumental and choral ensembles.
• The most influential events were participating in solo/ensemble festivals and honor groups such as all-states.

With these considerations in mind, this program is a plan that has been successfully implemented at several schools around the country. 

Let me introduce you to the goals of this program.
