Music at Kansas State University enriches the lives of more than 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students each year and offers hundreds of recitals and concerts to the university and local communities annually. Currently, 300 K-State students pursue music majors and minors, as well as many other fields of study throughout the university. The diversity of our curriculum fosters engaged student-centered learning from the classroom to the concert hall. Our students are leaders of many on-campus organizations and enjoy tremendous off-campus opportunities. In just the last year our students have performed at top venues such as the Kauffman Center in Kansas City, New York’s Carnegie Hall, and the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. There are many international travel opportunities for students through faculty-led trips and seminars. Recent international destinations include Cuba, Prague, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and France. We welcome and encourage all students to be part of Music at K-State!
