Welcome to ICA State of Kansas Home Page

I think that all of us in the state of Kansas should take pride in how the 2008 ICA convention in Kansas City turned out, and how our state was represented. I am happy that we showed that there is great playing and teaching going on in our state, and that there is a great deal of camaraderie and mutual respect among all clarinetists in Kansas. My next project is to create a list of private clarinet teachers, especially geared for Kansas high school clarinetists and for band directors to have as a reference. I will soon be contacting people for names that they may know. If you do teach high school (and other) private students and would like to be included on this list, please go ahead and let me know! I am hoping to include information on this site that is truly practical and useful to the young clarinetists in our state. Thanks to all of you who helped with and attended ClarinetFest 2008 in Kansas City. Sincerely, |
