Required courses (7 credit hours):
Students should have a grounding in human nutrition prior to acceptance into the MPH degree program with an emphasis in human nutrition. Prerequisite courses for students without an undergraduate degree in nutrition or dietetics or graduate work in nutrition include: HN 400 Human Nutrition and HN 450 Nutritional Assessment. These courses or the equivalent must be completed before the student is approved for full admission status in the program. Complete each of the following courses:

- HN 880: Graduate Seminar in HN (1)
- *may substitute an elective if already taken
