Infectious Disease + Zoonoses:
The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology (DMP) is one of a core group of departments that participate in the MPH degree program. Students entering the program are admitted into one of five areas of emphasis within the program. These areas of emphasis include Food Safety, Human Nutrition, Human Nutrition and Physical Activity, Physical Activity, and Infectious Diseases and Zoonoses.
The Infectious Diseases and Zoonoses area of emphasis requires 16 core credit hours, 20 area of emphasis credit hours, and a field experience or an MS thesis.
