Teaching

Dr. Fialdini Zambrano began her career as a French and Spanish Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Campus Azcapotzalco, in México City. When she moved to Canada, she began teaching Spanish for Beginners and during her doctorate, she also started to teach Spanish and Spanish American Literature. She loves to work with students, to persuade them to explore the Hispanic universes through language and to interact with ancient and contemporary authors through the study of their work.

Dr. Fialdini Zambrano research centers on Contemporary Spanish Theatre, particularly women playwrights. She is very interested in beginning a mega project focused on Contemporary Spanish Theatre and its role as an active dialogist to Contemporary social problematic, with special attention on issues related to gender violence, gender discrimination and gender identity constructions.
