Dr. Sara Luly joined K-State in Fall 2011 after completing her PhD at The Ohio State
University in Columbus. Dr. Luly specializes in late 18th and early 19th century literature
and culture, with an emphasis on German Romanticism and Gender Studies. Currently,
her research examines German Gothic literature and questions of masculinity in the
works of German Romanticism. She enjoys teaching courses on Gothic Literature and
Fairy-tales, as well as all levels of language courses. She is also an affiliated
member of the Department of Women's Studies at K-State.
