Angélique Courbou is Department Coordinator and Spanish Instructor. She primarily advises undergraduate students pursuing a Spanish minor, and teaches courses in Spanish composition and grammar, as well as the Spanish in Action CAT Community. Angélique is also the scheduler and web administrator for the Department of Modern Languages.

A native of France, Angélique arrived at Kansas State University in the Spring of 1995 as an exchange student. She earned her Master's degree in Spanish (Literature) from K-State in 2002 and an Academic Certificate in Advising in 2009. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution. Her research interests include advising, retention, resilience and persistence of students in secondary and post-secondary education, as well as the long term impact of service learning and study abroad.
