Angélique Courbou is Department Coordinator and an Assistant Coordinator for the Spanish Language Program (level 100). She primarily teaches courses in Spanish composition and grammar, and advises undergraduate students in Spanish. Angélique is also the web administrator for the Department of Modern Languages.

A native of France, Angélique arrived at Kansas State University in the Spring of 1995 as an exchange student. She earned her Master's degree in Spanish (Literature) from K-State in 2002 and an Academic Certificate in Advising in 2009. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution. Her research interests include retention, resilience and persistence of undocumented students in secondary and post-secondary education, as well as changes in federal & state laws and institutions policies regarding undocumented students.
