As a proud K-State alumna, I am pleased to be able to make my own contribution to the Spanish program as a Visiting Assistant Professor. I completed my graduate studies in 19th and 20th century Latin American literature at the University of Kansas, where I also enjoyed teaching a variety of undergraduate Spanish courses. My research and teaching interests include disability studies, women writers, translation, and service learning. I love to spend time with my husband and our young daughter, and some of my hobbies are playing the flute, cooking, and going fishing.
