Tutors

The Multicultural Engineering Program at Kansas State University will be seeking for tutors for the Fall 2007 semester.  Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.  Tutors must have a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA and an A in the class they would like to tutor.  Scheduling of hours is very flexible.  Tutors are hired by demand.

MEP Hourly Student Worker

The Multicultural Engineering Program is seeking one hourly student worker to begin working on Fall 2007 for minimum 12 hours per week. Please fill out an application form and turn it in with your resume, cover letter, and Fall 2007 schedule at 1056 Rathbone Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506.  Due date:  August 21, 2007.

Duties include:

  • Assist MEP Director and Administrative Assistant
  • Edit, format, design documents using Microsoft Office, Publisher
  • Do clerical work: filing, copies, errands
  • Answer phone and help students with questions
  • Three recruitment trips in Fall to Emporia, Dodge City, and Garden City on weekends
