Mediasite Outage Information

On May 22, 2018, a structure fire at Hale Library caused substantial smoke and water damage in the ITS data center where K-State's Mediasite service is hosted, ultimately resulting in the suspension of the service. This page intends to inform and advise instructors and other Mediasite users about the status and expectations for restoration of Mediasite platform services.

Mediasite Status: AVAILABLE

Mediasite services are now available. Thank you for your patience! You may notice some degradation of service quality or occasional availability issues until the data center's infrastructure is fully restored. See the Status of IT Services page for updates.

Has my Mediasite content been lost due to the fire?

No. All Mediasite content was saved.

I used the Mediasite Desktop Recorder software on my computer to record while the server was down. Can I upload this content to the server?

Yes, your recorded presentation can be manually uploaded.
