Police identify suspects in graffiti case

MANHATTAN —The three persons of interest in the graffiti case turned themselves in to the Kansas State University Police Department at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28. 

The following people were issued notices to appear in Manhattan City Court for criminal damage to property: Cassie M. Enright, 20; Joanna Pineda, 20; and Jon D. Groskurth, 20. All three are Kansas State University students and were cooperative in the investigation. 

The case involved graffiti reported in Seaton Hall and in the Quad areas of the university's Manhattan campus. The damage occurred over the Sept. 26-27 weekend.   

K-State Police would like to thank those who submitted tips on the LiveSafe smartphone app and through the Silent Witness program.
