PORTION OF K-STATE'S MID-CAMPUS DRIVE TO BE CLOSED OCT. 1 FOR PARKING GARAGE CONSTRUCTION

MANHATTAN -- A portion of Mid-Campus Drive on the Kansas State University campus will be closed for several hours Wednesday, Oct. 1, to accommodate a large concrete pour for K-State's new parking garage.

The street will be closed from Anderson Avenue to the turn-around zone southwest of Anderson Hall. The closing will start at 5:30 a.m. and the street should be reopened to traffic by 1 p.m. Motorists should be prepared to take alternative routes.
