MEDIA ARRANGEMENTS FOR SEPT. 23 LANDON LECTURE BY VICENTE FOX AT K-STATE
LECTURER: Vicente Fox, the former president of Mexico, will present Kansas State University's 152nd Landon Lecture at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, in McCain Auditorium.
NEWS MEDIA PARKING: *NO* reserved parking spaces will be available. Parking permits are required to park on the K-State campus from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. If you do not have a media parking pass, please call media relations, 785-532-6415, by Friday, Sept. 19, to arrange for a pass. One-day visitor parking permits also can be purchased for $4 at the information booth south of the K-State Student Union on 17th Street; from K-State parking services, 108 Edwards Hall; or at the K-State Police dispatch office, also in Edwards Hall.
* A media parking pass or visitor's parking pass allows for parking in any nonreserved or nonhandicap student or faculty/staff parking space. Parking without a pass in a reserved or handicap space can result in a parking fine, the wheel-locking or the towing of your vehicle. Suggested parking lots to try are at Anderson Avenue and 14th Street; North Manhattan Avenue and Vattier Street; and the West Memorial Stadium lot, accessible off Denison and Sunset avenues.
NEWS MEDIA SEATING: Reserved seats for the media will be on the right side of McCain Auditorium in the first few rows at the front of the auditorium. The last row of McCain will be reserved for radio and television reporters. An audio distribution box will be available.
SATELLITE FEED: There will be NO satellite feed of video and sound bites from the lecture.

MEDIA AVAILABILITY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: A media availability and photo opportunity with Fox will be near the northwest lobby doors of McCain shortly after the lecture. Media relations staff members will direct you to the location.
