ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's College of Architecture, Planning and Design has selected recipients of 2010-2011 scholarships.

The students and their scholarships include:

Darcy McDonough, third-year student in interior architecture and product design, Manhattan, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Bruce McKenzie Scholarship; Lana Keltner, third-year student in architecture, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Linda Erwin Young Scholarship, and Kelsey Vusich, third-year student in architecture, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Scholarship, both from Overland Park; Samantha McCloud, third-year student in architecture, Prairie Village, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Kratz Scholarship; and Derek Thome, fourth-year student in architecture, Viola, American Institute of Architects Wichita Scholarship.

From out of state:

Josh Goldstein, third-year student in architecture, Englewood, Colo., American Institute of Architects Kansas Scholarship

From Missouri: Alex Callow, third-year student in architecture, Graham, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Scholarship; Ian Orlando, fifth-year student in architecture, American Institute of Architects St. Louis Scholarship, Danielle Smith, third-year student in architecture, American Institute of Architects St. Louis Scholarship, and Ryan Stumpf, third-year student in architecture, American Institute of Architects St. Louis Scholarship, all from St. Louis.

From out of country: Subhojit Sinha, master's student in regional and community planning, India, Rotary International Scholarship.
