K-STATE'S QUEST HONORARY SELECTS NEW MEMBERS
MANHATTAN -- A freshman honorary society unique to Kansas State University has named its new members for the 2008-2009 school year.
Quest is organized by K-State's chapter of Blue Key, a senior leadership honor society that promotes student leadership in high school and college. Quest was founded at K-State in 2004.
Quest members get a behind-the-scenes look at K-State's award-winning programs. They can discuss important issues with university administrators and have other leadership experiences. Quest membership is based on written applications and interviews. Leadership and service in high school are important selection factors.
New members, all first-year students at K-State, their majors and hometowns include:
Kathleen Sexton, agricultural economics and agricultural communications and journalism, Abilene; Cole Grieves, environmental design, Auburn.
