EDUCATION CAREER FAIR AT K-STATE PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS, EMPLOYERS
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's annual Fall Education Career Fair, organized by K-State career and employment services, will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.
More than 50 school districts and employers from across Kansas and other states will attend, offering certified positions.
The Fall Education Career Fair is targeted specifically at education majors interested in teaching in K-12 schools or other education-affiliated organizations. The fair is open to the public, and certified teachers also are welcome to attend.
Representatives from many Kansas school districts will attend, as well as from Arizona, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska and Arkansas.
A full list of employers scheduled to attend the fair is available at http://www.k-state.edu/ces
Students also can long onto their career and employment services' account, click on the "Career Fairs and Events" link, then select "Search Employers" next to the Education Career Fair. After passing this screen, students can narrow down their search to specific geographic areas or academic major.
Students should dress professionally, bring their K-State identification card and multiple copies of their resume. Students also should check-in prior to entering the fair at the registration table along the east side of the Union Ballroom.
