K-STATE'S DESIGNEXPO TO FEATURE DOZENS OF DESIGN, ARCHITECTURAL FIRMS
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University students seeking careers in the design disciplines will get the chance to meet with prospective employers at DesignExpo, the career fair put together by the College of Architecture, Planning and Design.
DesignExpo will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the ballroom at the K-State's Alumni Center. Event sponsors are K-State's College of Architecture, Planning and Design and career and employment services.
Employers attending DesignExpo are offering full-time employment as well as student academic internship opportunities. They also will be available to visit with students who wish to learn more about the disciplines of architecture, interior architecture and product design, landscape architecture, and regional and community planning, as well as related design fields.
This is the ninth year DesignExpo has been offered. For the first time, both fall and spring sessions of the event will be held, with the spring session to be Feb. 23, 2009.
