K-STATE'S QUEST HONORARY SELECTS 33 NEW MEMBERS
MANHATTAN -- A freshman honorary society unique to Kansas State University has named its new members for the 2007-2008 school year.
Quest is organized by K-State's chapter of Blue Key, a senior leadership honor society that promotes student leadership in high school and college. Quest was founded at K-State in 2004 and remains exclusive to the university.
Quest members get a behind-the-scenes look at K-State's award-winning programs. They can discuss important issues with university administrators and have other leadership experiences. Selection to Quest is based on written applications and interviews. Leadership and service in high school are important selection factors.
New members are first-year students at K-State. New Quest members, their majors and hometowns include:
Bethany Bohnenblust, agricultural communications and journalism, Altamont; Kyle Essley, general agriculture, Baxter Springs; Kelsie Ball, family studies and human services and pre-nursing, Eureka.
