AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS AWARDS SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO K-STATE ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS
MANHATTAN -- Several students studying architecture at the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning and Design have received American Institute of Architects scholarships for the 2007-2008 academic year.
The scholarships are awarded annually to deserving students who will be or are currently attend an accredited architecture school.
The students include:
Mark Long, fifth-year senior, Manhattan, Kansas Architectural Foundation Scholarship and Daniel Gensch, senior, Wichita, American Institute of Architects Wichita Scholarship.
From out of state:
Rebekah Udall, fourth-year student, Colorado Springs, Colo., Kansas Architectural Foundation Scholarship; Kelly Egdorf, fourth-year student, Chaska, Minn., Kansas Architectural Foundation Scholarship.
From Missouri: Malcolm Watkins, graduate student, Gower, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Scholarship, the Kratz Scholarship and the Bruce McKenzie Scholarship; Colette Hamilton, graduate student, Kansas City, American Institute of Architects Kansas City Scholarship; Meghan Bogener, graduate student, St. Charles, American Institute of Architects St. Louis Scholarship; and Christina Fronick, graduate student, American Institute of Architects St. Louis Scholarship, and Emily Hagy, graduate student, American Institute of Architects St. Louis Scholarship, both of St. Louis.
