K-STATE
HUMAN ECOLOGY STUDENTS JOIN HONOR SOCIETY
MANHATTAN
-- Kansas State University's Theta chapter of Kappa Omicron
Nu, an honor society for human ecology students, has new members.
The
honor society is intended to recognize leadership, research and
scholarship. Members must aspire toward the advancement of scholarship,
personal and leadership development, and maintenance of high standards.
Both undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate integrity,
high standards of scholarship, and the promise of future achievement
are invited to join the society.
New
members this year include:
Todd
Heer, senior in dietetics, Bonner Springs; Debra Hofer, senior
in dietetics, Cedar; Paige Helget, sophomore in family life
and community services, Ellis; Wendy Trout, junior in early
childhood education, Galesburg; Jenette Turpin, graduate
student in early childhood education, Garden City; and Andrea
Wisbey, sophomore in family life and community services, Glasco.
From
Greater Kansas City: Erin Kohler, junior in family studies and human
services, and Rebekah Wirtz, sophomore in dietetics, both of Olathe;
Jackie Carroll, sophomore in apparel marketing, and Laura Winegardener,
senior in interior design, both of Overland Park;
and Caitlyn Cook, sophomore in apparel design and production, and
Diane Wilson, graduate student in personal financial planning, both
of Shawnee.
